We travelled to Clarens to stay with the mom of Jade’s stepbrother and had a wonderful time

We had a very successful road trip to Bloemfontein, Aliwal North, George (via Aberdeen) and back to Johannesburg via Trompsburg. Here’s the highlights.

The JOY Dogs love going to Genius Dog Park, it is private and we don’t have to worry about other dogs. They love running free.

We are fortunate to have the JOY Dogs groomed by Pika’s Pets – they do such a good job!

I collect all the hair from grooming the dogs and spin it on a spinning wheel, colour it and knit or crochet – these scarves were made from Orion’s hair. It is time consuming – taking 8 hours to make a ball of wool, but definitely worth the effort.
