A chance to show off in front of 1200 learners!  We also donated copies of Life with Oscar – the children’s book authored by Sue.

A stage performance with over 350 children who thoroughly enjoyed our show.  They got a chance to be up close and personal and brush the dogs.

We were invited to do our show here and it was a great success.  We got asked some unusual questions and the children learnt a lot about the dogs.  They each got to pose individually with the dogs too.  I think the teacher enjoyed it the most!

Along with Caring Friends Therapy Dogs we helped raise funds for cancer.  We did a demo of the JOY Dogs’ tricks on the field for everyone.  Yola also came joint 1st with 3 others in the agility course.  Proud of her.

Through our association with Caring Friends Therapy Dogs in vanderbijlpark we visited Jeugland.  What a treat for the old folk.  And it was Jazmine’s 10th birthday ! At the aged home At the Service centre – I also demonstrated the spinning of dog hair.

Following on from our association with forgood we went to visit Headway and entertain the residents and staff.  They especially liked the interaction with the dogs and seeing their tricks.

JOY Dogs have now partnered with forgood and made an ‘offer’ for visits in the south of Johannesburg  all ‘for’ a ‘good’ cause.  We went to visit them in Hyde Park and the dogs were a big hit.
