It was a long journey for her as she left Siberia for Moscow on a Tuesday, overnighted in Moscow and only left early Thursday morning for Istanbul, then only left early Friday morning for Johannesburg and arrived 10.30am and went straight to quarantine. They repeated blood tests done in Russia and she was released from quarantine a week later at 2pm on the Friday.
She has settled in very well, I had advice from Charmaine, a behaviourist on how to introduce Jade and Orion to her and it went very well.
The first night she only went to sleep at midnight and was up at 4am. We had breakfast and I gave her a bath at 5am. I was very tired that day but then the next day she was comfortable, she had slept well and Jade even played with her.
She has the most beautiful blue eyes. She loves her new home and explores the garden confidently. I will spend time taking her in the car to get used to travelling and meeting people. She has a lovely nature and enjoys people and being petted – she is going to be a wonderful JOY Dog for sure.
